Bio
The back story of Taki Haginosuke:

Taki had never been, 'above average.' Growing up as the middle child in a family of four brothers and sisters, he never, 'stood out.' Even in middle school, when he was interested in sports (or more specifically; tennis), he never shone in clubs. He was never, 'one of the gang,' a true member of the team. High-school was no different: the faces were a little older, the logic was a bit more thorough, but it was basically the same. Yet, Taki never really minded.

He worked his way through high-school, not struggling particularly, but having to work to pass each exam. By the time he came to university, and choosing careers, Taki was hopelessly lost. People had found their muses by then, and gone off to pursue subjects and fields in different parts of the world. He decided to take a gap-year, jetting off to Europe to spend time with his aunt in Paris.

Paris was huge and open, and Taki had never seen anything like it. It was brimming with culture, but not the culture he was used to. He spent time learning the language, abandoning the essence of Japan that made him so mediocre. About six months into his stay in Paris, his aunt offered him a job as a temporary masseur: 'It will be good work experience for you, no?' was how she eloquently put it. One massage was all it took to give to make him realise that this was what he wanted to do.

After that, he attended beauty school in Calais and came back to work in his Aunt's salon for a few years, building up his skills and his French. He had almost forgotten Japanese when he received a letter from an old friend in Japan telling him something about a salon and the, 'L'Atobe,' hotel. He packed up his tools in France and told his aunt that he'd found work. He booked his plane ticket the next day.
